This is the lovely Pixie! She is a beautiful Border Collie female aged 3 years old who is currently in foster care in East Sussex. Pixie has settled wonderfully into her foster home and loves the company of other dogs and is not phased by cats or older children.
She hasn’t had a great life previously in Ireland and she is hand shy with humans. She is very gentle and can be easily coaxed with treats as she is food orientated. We use a harness for walks and Pixie allows this to be put on with gentle handling. Once on lead, she walks very well and enjoys her walks in the fields. She is friendly when she meets other dogs and people out and about. Pixie is crate trained and clean in the house. Her ideal home would be rural, with experienced, kind owners willing to build her confidence and with another dog/dogs.
