Bobo is a 1 year old male Border Collie. Bobo is a clever, active young dog who loves to learn, and has started on basic agility training. He will enjoy any form of activity that will tax his mind, and due to this, he can’t be left on his own all day. He has no toy or food aggression, has impeccable food manners and no resource guarding. He is good in traffic, does not chase cars and will travel well in a vehicle. Bobo is not trusting of strangers, including strangers coming into the home. A training plan is in place to help him with this issue, which he is comfortable with. He therefore needs a an experienced Collie home in a rural location with no immediate neighbours who will carry on with his training.
For this reason, he would cope best in a home with no children or with older teenage children only as he would find a lot of young visiting children playing in the home or garden too difficult
Within his foster home, he gets on well with the resident dogs and he could be rehomed where he is an only dog or where the other resident dogs are more placid and non-reactive.
