This is adorable Carla a 3 year old female Border Collie. Carla is looking to the new year in a very positive way. Carla is very affectionate. She craves for the affection she has been deprived for a long time. Carla must have been loved at some time as she is so people orientated. Carla sent the last year in a private shelter in Romania after being rescued from a kill public shelter. Her affectionate disposition has won the heart of all those have met her. Carla is well balanced and walks nicely on her lead. She is well behaved in the house and friendly with other dogs. Carla is looking for a kind family who will be able to offer her an active life.
Carla will require a very secure garden with high fences as she is an agility high jump champion in the making. This combined with a very sharp mind and the memory of the days when she was running free in the streets could prove too tempting for her and she may attempt to escape in the early days of adoption. Once settled and bonded with her new family, she will be the perfect companion that any dog lover would dream of having.
Carla is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and holds her own passport. She is fostered in North London. For home checking purpose we prefer to re-home in London or Home Counties although we may consider applications from further afield for the right home.
