Pasha – 15 month old female Border Collie

Pasha is a 15 month old female Border Collie. Pasha originally came into us in Nov 2015, via RSPCA Inspectors, as he had been living in unsuitable conditions. He was re-homed fairly quickly but returned 6 weeks later, due to reported unpredictable aggression. He has been assessed over the last few weeks (including vet check) and we have found, other than being a little nervous and depressed in kennels, to be a timid but friendly and well behaved, well trained lad. However, we must take into consideration the reports from the previous owner, thus adult only home. The only negative thing is he is very reactive towards other dogs when on lead, will bark and lunge forward, so much so we do muzzle him when out walking. We are slowly reintroducing him to other dogs but this will take time, patience and is on-going. So at this point in time, we would say only pet, or female dogs only if introductions are successful.

This boy knows all the basics, is housetrained, travels well, can be left home alone, walks briliantly on lead and harness, loves a ball and retrieves, would definitely be a candidate for flyball or other sport or work. Previous owner said his recall was good and he was off lead until there was a problem with a stranger, (will discuss further by telephone).

If you love Border Collie’s, you will love Pasha, he is a fairly typical example of his breed and anyone would be proud to own him.
