Tilley is a 5 month old female Border Collie. Tilley was surrendered because the wife was diagnosed with Post natal depression and can’t cope. She was very much loved, and beautifully cared for, and her owner is devastated at giving her up, but knows it is best for Tilley. This is what he said about her. Tilley is a very typical collie in the way that she has alot of energy. But as she’s still a baby if she can burn off most of it, she’ll just lie on the floor and chill, providing that she knows that room, she’s not allowed upstairs so when she does get to go up, she gets very excited and plays with everything new she sees.
As I work long days / nights, shes marginally nocturnal as she waits for me to get home at midnight for cuddles and fusses and playtime and then shes ready to go again at 6am, when i get up to start the day again. shes a bit docile in the afternoon, as thats really her down time. Shes an adorable little pup and needs someone who can be here for her more, i just cant provide or afford it now:-( She loves to play with other dogs of all ages – she’ll herd smaller dogs and play with bigger ones. Tilley adore children and adults alike, and licks my baby all over – not sure he likes it though. She wants to play all the time with adults – cause havoc and explore the garden / gardens she is very adventurous- she likes to jump into our neighbours gardens and play with the dogs either side of our house. She is house trained and goes to the back door to be let out.
We worked hard with her basic training, but Tilley pulls on lead still, as we dont have much time unfortuately to get her out and about so she gets over excited and wants to run everywhere, but she does calm down and knows heel / wait, she’s getting better. Tilley is at the Sanctuary near Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire.
What more do you want from a lovely, friendly, loving pup who just wants to be lovd, cuddled, played with, walked, and treated the way the beautiful baby puppy should be treated.
We have found Tilley absolutely delightful and everything her previous owner has told us to be accurate.
