Please meet Malleable Merlin. Merlin is a gorgeous 18 month old male Border Collie. He joined us when his owner sadly died and nobody came forward for this beautiful boy. Merlin absolutely adores other dogs so can live with other dogs or be the only dog. He will need someone that is around a lot, as he is young and active and will need ongoing training. Merlin needs an experienced owner that is aware of collie energy.
Merlin is great off the lead and will stay with the other dogs, he is very people orientated and is never far from his handler. Merlin could live with children aged 13 plus. Merlin also hasnt taken any notice of the cat here, so could potentially live with cats. He is house trained and can be crated for short periods.
Merlin would make a great family pet for an active family home, and would equally be great for a young or older couple that love walking – he LOVES exercise and play time! Merlin is extremly focused and has obviously had alot of time put into him with his previous owner.
Merlin loves to snuggle with other dogs, and you if he can get away with it – for the most part of the day if you are with him he is a couch potato and likes to snuggle and sleep!
Merlin is ball obsessed and would be fantastic at flyball or agility! I absolutely adore this little lad, he has been the perfect house guest and his adopters will be very lucky indeed to adopt him, he is stunning both inside and out!
